{"id":117812,"date":"2020-12-10T13:50:33","date_gmt":"2020-12-10T13:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sonographycanada.ca\/?page_id=117812"},"modified":"2024-08-21T14:38:19","modified_gmt":"2024-08-21T18:38:19","slug":"bourse-detude-commemorative-peter-mclardie-etudiant","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sonographycanada.ca\/fr\/bourse-detude-commemorative-peter-mclardie-etudiant","title":{"rendered":"Bourse d&#8217;\u00e9tude comm\u00e9morative Peter McLardie &#8211; \u00c9tudiant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility &amp; Selection Criteria<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants must have been enrolled in a Canadian accredited diagnostic ultrasound program in the year prior to their application.<\/li><li>Refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sonographycanada.ca\/app\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Peter_McLardie_Bursary_Student_Rubric.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">student evaluation form<\/a>\u00a0for more details as to how the winner(s) will be selected.<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nomination Process<\/strong><\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sonographycanada.ca\/awards-nomination-application-form\">application form<\/a><\/li><li>Submit an essay of 750 words or less outlining how Peter McLardie\u2019s values and dedication have influenced the ultrasound profession and how you have demonstrated Peter\u2019s values in the following three (3) categories: <ul><li>Community<\/li><li>Mentorship<\/li><li>Integrity<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Each application must include two (2) letters of reference from a peer, educator or colleague.<\/li><li> Applicants are encouraged to read Peter McLardie\u2019s biography\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sonographycanada.ca\/app\/uploads\/2019\/11\/In-Memorial-and-Tribute.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">in Memoriam and Tribute<\/a>. <\/li><li>Applications may be submitted in both English and French  <\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Process<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sonography Canada will forward nominations received prior to the due date to the Awards Committee for evaluation.<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timelines<\/h4><p><strong>All submissions must be received by March 30.<\/strong><\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prize<\/strong><\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This bursary covers the cost of writing the credentialing exam(s) associated with the recipients&#8217; program(1st attempt for each exam only).
