The Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) presents this MSK Ultrasound program as part of a larger series for Sonographers of all levels of experience. Diagnostic Ultrasound has become one of the most rapidly developing fields in musculoskeletal imaging. Dramatic advances in technology have broadened its applications and established ultrasound as an important tool in the assessment of musculoskeletal injuries. This program is intended to provide practicing Sonographers with relevant and accessible information important to the sonographic assessment of the hip, thigh and pelvis. Using an interactive case study format, the anatomy, technique, indications, sonographic appearances and pathologies of the hip, thigh and pelvis will be considered.
