Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sonographers/Ultrasound Technologists to join our team on a locum basis. The potential candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality exams on patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Duties:
- Perform exams according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort & safety during scans.
- Monitor patients during exams and ensure high-quality images
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Qualifications:
- Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada or active registration with ARDMS.
- A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed for locum assignments.
- Membership with a provincial association/Active licensure with the applicable provincial regulatory body is required.
- Maintain ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
