RAD AID Program Update 2022

Over half the world lacks radiology, impacting diagnosis and treatment of cancer, heart disease, infections, trauma, maternal-infant complications, and much more. RAD-AID brings radiology to low-resource areas by delivering education, equipment, infrastructure, and support.
Ultrasound is a valuable tool in low-resource settings and a powerful component of global health. RAD-AID has an innovative program for empowering safe and effective use of ultrasound in low-resource contexts for medically underserved patients through on-site teaching; remote didactics; hands-on ultrasound instruction and tele-ultrasound. Andrew Pellew-Nabbs will provide an update on RAD AID programs and volunteer opportunities.
Participants will earn 1 Relevant to Practice CPD Credit.
