Located just 50 metres from the stunning Coastal Walkway, Absolute Radiology is a specialist radiology clinic with a strong focus on delivering convenient, high-quality, and friendly medical imaging services.

We have a high skilled, close-knit team in a purpose-built facility which also offers x-ray, CT, MRI, Bone Density scanning and Interventional Radiology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality ultrasound scanning, in a supportive team environment.

Our case mix makes this a Sonographers dream job because of the variety of cases, from MSK to elastography, general body (with limited obstetric) scanning.  Each day is different!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Utilising clinical judgement/decision making to inform examination strategy and outcome
• Ensuring the delivery of ultrasound imaging in a skillful and knowledgeable manner
• Preparing written reports for examinations whereby you use your superior knowledge to critically evaluate findings
• Practicing procedures in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
• Work in with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate outcomes for our patients.

This position will require you to be a real people person, with the ability to provide a high level of care and understanding to existing and prospective patients, catering to their psychological and physical needs.

You will also have:

• Registration with the NZMRTB as qualified Sonographer
• Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada
• Excellent interpersonal skills: communication, team effectiveness, and the ability to work collaboratively
• To be successful in this role you will apply your knowledge and professionalism to maintain Absolute Radiology’s clinical excellence and outstanding patient care. You will demonstrate integrity and contribute to a positive work environment
