We are currently recruiting for a Vascular Sonographer to join our team in Fredericton at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Join us as a valued healthcare provider to deliver care to and perform ultrasound examinations for patients referred for evaluation. Using your strong clinical skills, you will be responsible for Performing Vascular ultrasound examinations. You will be actively involved in patient and family teaching, and function collaboratively with other members of your healthcare team.
JOB DUTIES
• Preparing patients for Vascular ultrasound examinations
• Preparing and operating equipment used in Vascular ultrasound examinations
• Screening test results and preparing reports for physicians
• Cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting and maintaining Vascular ultrasound equipment
• Maintaining clinical records and documentation
• Providing mentoring and support for technicians and other health care professionals
QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of a recognized Diagnostic Sonography Training Program with a specialty in Vascular Ultrasound.
• Credentialed or eligible for registration with Sonography Canada or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.
