About Us

Wosler Diagnostics is a healthcare technology company improving access to diagnostic imaging across Canada. We are building remote and robotic imaging solutions and empowering healthcare professionals with mobile and innovative tools to better serve patients in rural and underserved communities. Our sonographers have the opportunity to shape how this technology is used in real clinical settings.

We are looking for experienced sonographers from anywhere in Canada who want more flexibility in how they work and who are curious about where diagnostic imaging is headed next. This role is based in Whitecourt, Alberta, and we welcome candidates who are open to relocating or exploring a new opportunity in a growing community. We are hiring immediately and reviewing applications on a rolling basis.

Earn Up to $200K Annually

This is not a traditional salaried position. Our per scan compensation model rewards productivity and availability, giving you the ability to earn up to approximately $200K per year. You control your volume. You control your income. Strong hourly rate options are also available depending on your preference. Whether you prefer stability or want to maximize your earning potential, we have a model that works for you.

Why Whitecourt, Alberta?

Whitecourt is a welcoming community surrounded by nature, offering an affordable cost of living and a pace of life that many healthcare professionals find refreshing after years in larger centres. Alberta has no provincial sales tax, meaning more of what you earn stays in your pocket. The demand for diagnostic imaging in the region is strong and growing, and you would be joining a team that is making a real difference in how rural and underserved communities access care.

What You Will Do

Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, small parts, vascular, and OB/Gyne. Collaborate with referring physicians to clarify sonographic requests and ensure high quality care. Communicate findings with interpreting radiologists to support accurate diagnoses. Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure exam rooms follow infection prevention protocols. Review patient charts to understand clinical context before scanning. Provide support with patient scheduling as needed. Ensure patient comfort and safety using proper positioning and shielding techniques. Perform real time quality control on images before submission. Participate in the onboarding and mentorship of new sonographers or students. Stay current through continuing education. Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

Flexible compensation models with earning potential up to $200K annually. Opportunity to grow with a fast moving, innovative company developing remote and robotic imaging solutions. A supportive, mission driven team environment. Direct involvement in shaping how emerging imaging technology is used in clinical practice.
