ADULT CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER OPPORTUNITY IN BEAUTIFUL KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Unique opportunity in spectacular Kelowna, BC – work 2 blocks from one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada!
Position: Cardiac sonographer required for dedicated outpatient adult echocardiography in a private practice setting. Negotiable contract, scheduling and hours with additional shifts available at Kelowna General Hospital if desired. No overnight or on call requirements.
This position offers unique options for flexible hours and a fee for service payment structure that rewards productivity, initiative and innovation! Successful applicants must be comfortable working independently in a busy clinical setting.
Requirements:
- Graduate of recognized sonography training institution
- Current Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) designation with Sonography Canada
- Relevant experience in adult cardiac sonography/echocardiography
Equipment: Our sonographers have a dedicated Philips EPIQ 7 for scanning and their own reporting station supporting McKesson (CHANGE) reporting software. No shared machines!
Remuneration: Fee for service payment model starting at $50/study (10-11 studies booked daily). Opportunities up to $65+/hr. Optional health and dental benefits are available.
Integration: All of our sonographers are integrated with the Echocardiography department at Kelowna General Hospital
