CMAS: Gynecologic Ultrasound Course

The Gynecologic Ultrasound Course is a training event that provides healthcare professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in gynecologic ultrasound imaging.
Now in an expanded format, DAY ONE will include lectures and can be attended online or in-person. DAY TWO will include simulation based learning and live-scanning.
Introducing our Keynote Speaker for June 2025:
Dr Tina Tellum is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Gynecology in Oslo University Hospital and an assistant professor at the University of Oslo, Norway. Her research focuses on ultrasound in benign gynecology, with particular emphasis on adenomyosis and endometriosis as well as early pregnancy complications. Dr. Tellum’s expertise is further recognized through her role as Assistant Chief Editor of Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica (AOGS), an international obstetrics and gynecology journal, and FVVO. The main emphasis in her clinical work is endometriosis, adenomyosis and endoscopic surgery.
Please note that full-course registration is limited to fifteen (15) participants for optimal hands-on learning experience and is now SOLD OUT. Registration remains open for both in-person and virtual lectures.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this learning activity the learners will be able to:
- Define normal anatomy, variants and sonographic evaluation of the uterus to accurately identify and interpret uterine abnormalities
- Analyze the sonographic evaluation of endometriosis in extra-uterine/ovarian regions
- Familiarize themselves with interventional gynecologic ultrasound procedures, specifically sonohysterography and tubal patency evaluation
- Discuss challenging cases and make informed clinical decisions through interactive case studies
- Demonstrate increased knowledge by participating in hands-on opportunities on live patients
