ACMS Ultrasound Ltd. is a dynamic and patient-focused diagnostic imaging clinic dedicated to providing high-quality ultrasound services in a compassionate, professional, and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated General and MSK Sonographer to join our growing team.

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer capable of performing a wide range of general ultrasound procedures, including:

  • Abdomen
  • Small Parts
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK)
  • Vascular studies

This is a permanent full-time position, with flexibility for part-time hours if preferred.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams across General, small parts, MSK, and vascular categories.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, ensuring consistent, high-quality imaging.
  • Monitor exams to ensure diagnostic accuracy and adjust techniques as necessary.
  • Record, process, and store scanned images accurately in a RIS/PACS environment.
  • Prepare detailed and timely preliminary reports for Radiologists.
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally to Radiologists and other healthcare professionals as required
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while delivering compassionate care.
  • Maintain equipment and manage supplies to support a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Support clinic operations and uphold accreditation standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current CRGS credential with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS – Required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant sonography experience – preferred
  • Professional Liability Insurance – Required
  • Proficient in performing a variety of sonographic procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
