Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our imaging clinic in Kingston, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while supporting efficient clinic workflow and maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (general, OB/GYN, and other studies as applicable)
- Produce high-quality images and accurate technical documentation
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout examinations
- Follow clinic protocols, infection control, and quality assurance procedures
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff
- Maintain accurate electronic records using clinic EMR/PACS systems
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current registration with CMRITO (or eligible)
- Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada preferred
- Vascular ultrasound experience or certification is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $35–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Vacation pay provided
