As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for producing and interpreting high quality sonographic images for a range of diverse adult and pediatric internal structures including neck, abdomen, pelvis, scrotum, heart, deep leg veins, breasts, and the pregnant abdomen including the developing fetus. You may also provide images for intricate procedures like biopsies and aspirations utilizing real-time ultrasound. You’ll guide patients through their procedures, prep them, and ensure top-notch post-care.
The annual salary range for a full-time sonographer in the NWT ranges from $103,818 to $124,020 (before overtime and shift-premiums), with potential additional gross earnings of between approximately $24,300 to 31,100 within the first year of employment, based on northern living allowance, recruitment bonus, 1-year retention bonus, and other paid benefits.

The ideal candidates have completed a Certified Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program and are a current credentialed member of Sonography Canada.
