Full-Time Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Peace Diagnostic Imaging, Grande Prairie, Alberta Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Sonographer to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. About the Role

The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accuracy. You will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to support timely and effective diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., general, obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, vascular, and/or MSK and Echocardiography depending on experience)
• Accurately document and record images and preliminary findings
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Eligible for registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Alberta
• Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada and/or current professional certification ARDMS
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
