Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Position

Providence Pediatric Cardiology, a private clinic with four pediatric cardiologists in Calgary is looking for a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform and provide preliminary report of echo findings
• Define routine and complex congenital heart disorders in pediatric patients
• Evaluation of post op surgical repair studies by echocardiogram
• Must have an excellent understanding of physiology and anatomy pathology of congenital heart disease
• Ability to work well in a team environment alongside other cardiac sonographers, cardiology technologists, physicians and clerical staff
• Prefer pediatric echocardiography experience but may consider training the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada (CRCS) or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certified
• Current qualifications in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Pediatric echocardiography experience
