SDMS CME Weekend

Held in the spring, SDMS CME Weekend is a travel-free, online-only learning experience that enables sonographers, sonography students, and physicians from around the world to network and learn. In addition to earning SDMS CME credits, the educational program provides attendees with knowledge and skills in new sonographic techniques, diagnostic accuracy, enhancements of sonographic instrumentation, and practice management strategies.

- Saturday, May 3: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Central (CDT)
- Sunday, May 4: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Central (CDT)
All times listed in the 2025 SDMS CME Weekend agenda are in Central (CDT) time. It is imperative that you verify your time zone and when the conference starts for you. You can convert the posted start times to your local time using this online Time Zone Converter.

SDMS CME Credit
You can earn up to 10 SDMS CME credits by participating in SDMS CME Weekend (breakdown below). Speaker introductions and the breaks between sessions do not count for SDMS CME credits.
Credit Breakdown by Day
- Saturday, May 3: Up to 5 SDMS CME Credits
- Sunday, May 4: Up to 5 SDMS CME Credits
In order to receive SDMS CME credit, you must attend the event as it is being live streamed. SDMS CME credit will be issued for each session attended in full. Partial credit will not be awarded for sessions not attended in their entirety. The SDMS CME credits that you will earn for participating in SDMS CME Weekend will appear on your SDMS CME Transcript within three weeks.
Am I required to attend both days?
No, you can attend the sessions that work with your schedule.
Recordings and Materials
The SDMS will provide you with a recording of the conference sessions via email within three weeks. Note: In order to receive SDMS CME credit, you must attend the event as it is being live streamed.
