Message from Gail Boyer, CRGS, CRCS-AE, CRVS, our Board Chair

It is an incredible honour to serve as Chair of Sonography Canada’s Board of Directors. I look forward to working on behalf of our membership to advance the profession, advocate for the needs of sonographers across the country, and support our growing and diverse community. 

In May 2025, I had the privilege of participating in our Strategic Planning Weekend in Ottawa, where the Board met with members of the Strategic Plan Working Group and staff to map out the next three years for Sonography Canada. The energy, collaboration, and shared commitment to strengthening our profession were truly inspiring. I’m confident that the conversations and ideas from that weekend will shape meaningful outcomes for the organization and for members in every corner of the country. 

Before I introduce our new Board, I want to express sincere thanks to the 2024–2025 Board of Directors. Your dedication, time, and thoughtful contributions helped guide the organization through another year of progress and change.

• Victor Lee, Stakeholder Relations Advisor – Victor has been a pillar of our volunteer leadership for more than 15 years, including as a past Board Chair. Thank you, Victor, for your extraordinary commitment to Sonography Canada and the profession.
