News About January 2024 Entry-to-Practice Exam Results

On February 15^th Sonography Canada was made aware of an assessment error in our January 2024 national Entry-to-Practice Exams that could change the exam results for a small number of individual writers.  After a review, it was determined that it was confined to the Generalist exam, impacting the outcome of 28 candidates.

We have informed the regulators about this situation and are contacting those individuals whose results may change. 

We apologize to those impacted by this error.  

We understand the critical importance of the integrity of our exam process and are making a full investigation to understand the scope of the issue our top priority.  

We will provide updates as we learn more. We also will be assessing the entire exam process to make whatever changes are needed to avoid a recurrence.
