June 22, 2024 – [Ottawa, ON] – Sonography Canada, the national body representing diagnostic medical sonographers, is pleased to announce its Board of Directors for the upcoming 2024-2025 term. The organization remains committed to advancing the profession and supporting its members through leadership, advocacy, and professional development.

Executive Committee:

The Board is further supported by our dedicated Board Advisors, with some notable changes:

• Lise Melanson, CRGS, BSc, continuing her third year as Francophone Relations Advisor
• Tehmina Saiyed, from Mohawk McMaster’s sonography program, appointed as the 2024-2025 Student Advisor following the submission of seven nominations from across the country. Congratulations, Tehmina!

Additionally, Susan Clarke, MBA will continue her role as Executive Director and Corporate Secretary, providing crucial leadership and organizational oversight.

Sonography Canada is dedicated to enhancing the practice and quality of diagnostic medical sonography across Canada. We are confident that our new Board of Directors, with their extensive expertise and commitment, will guide our organization towards continued success and innovation in the field.
