Cardiac CME

Webinar Series on Echo Features in Patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Note: This session will cover similar objectives as the Go with The Flow: HCM – Webinar on February 18th

This series, designed for clinicians, offers guidance in distinguishing HCM from other causes of left ventricular hypertrophy (“thick heart” conditions) using echocardiography and supportive imaging. Multiple dates are available, but note that each speaker will bring their expertise, cases, and perspectives.  Join one or join all!  One (1) CPD Credit available per session.

Learning Objectives:

  • Conduct a comprehensive echo to evaluate known or suspected hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • Distinguish HCM from similar presentations using echo features and complementary investigations (strain imaging, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, genetics, etc.)
  • Develop and modify treatment strategies for patients’ complex responses to treatment
