Important information about the Sonography Canada examinations
Starting in January 2027, when the new National Competency Profile 7.0 comes into effect, changes are being made to the way the examinations are administered. From January 2027, the Sonography Canada Core exam will become integrated into the Generalist, Cardiac, and Vascular credentialing examinations. There will no longer be a standalone Core examination offered to first-time writers.
September Sitting Exam Registration Period
Registration for the September 2026 exam sitting will be open from June 24 to July 15, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to review eligibility requirements before applying.
