It’s already Q4, and this is already our last newsletter of the year.  It’s been an enjoyable honour to serve as your Board Chair for the latter half of this year!

Thank you to all of our members who participated in our annual conference.  It was great to see so many of you both in person and online and, as always, we truly value your support.  Please join me in sending a special thank-you to our talented, dedicated staff for   organizing such an enjoyable and inspiring event. Keeping my end of year note brief, I wanted to draw your attention to two calls for nominations coming early in 2024.

• Nominations for the Board of Directors: Serving as an elected member of the Board of Directors is a rewarding, career enriching experience.  Three (3) positions will be up for election in 2024, and I encourage you to put your name forward.  An announcement will be made soon about the available positions, and how to participate in the electoral process. 
• Nominations for our 2024 Awards: The Sonography Canada Awards Program recognizes and celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the profession of sonography or to the association. Each year, members can apply for bursaries or nominate peers, mentors or colleagues to have the outstanding achievements of sonographers across the country recognized.
