Sonography Canada T-Shirt Design Contest Rules and Information
Contest Overview
Sonography Canada is excited to announce a T-Shirt Design Contest open to all members. This is a fantastic opportunity for our talented members to showcase their creativity and contribute to a unique piece of apparel that represents our community. The winning design will be featured on T-Shirts available for sale through Sonography Canada, online via our e-store.
Contest Timeline
- Contest Start Date: June 22, 2024
- Submission Deadline: July 31, 2024
- Winner Announcement: August 2024
Eligibility
- The contest is open to all current members of Sonography Canada.
- Must be a member in good standing (all member types qualify).
Design Guidelines
- Theme: The design should reflect the spirit and values of sonographers/Sonography Canada, including professionalism, community, and excellence in the field of sonography.
- Format: Submissions must be in digital format (PNG or JPEG).
- Originality: All entries must be original works created by the contestant. Plagiarism or use of copyrighted material is strictly prohibited.
Submission Process
- How to Submit: Email your design to Meagan Rockett (Manager, Membership, Marketing & Communications) at mrockett@sonographycanada.ca with the subject line “T-Shirt Design Contest Submission.”
- File Naming: Name your file as [LastName_FirstName_DesignTitle].
- Required Information: Include your full name, membership ID, email address, and a brief description of your design, and why you chose it to reflect the spirit and values of sonographers or Sonography Canada.
Judging Criteria
All submissions received by the deadline will then be shared with the membership and a vote will take place for the best design. This vote will happen in August 2024.
Prizes
- Grand Prize: The winning design will be printed on T-Shirts available for sale through Sonography Canada. The winner will also receive a $500 cash prize and a complimentary T-Shirt featuring their design.
- Runners-Up: Two runners-up will each receive a $100 gift card and a certificate of recognition.
Rights and Usage
- By submitting a design, contestants grant Sonography Canada the right to use, reproduce, and display the design in any promotional materials and merchandise.
- The winning design may be modified to fit production requirements.
- Credit will be given to the designer whenever the design is used.
Additional Information
- Participants can submit multiple entries, but each design must be submitted separately.
- Sonography Canada reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the contest requirements or is deemed inappropriate.
- All decisions by the judging panel are final.
