Canadian home sales fell on a month-over-month basis once again in March 2025, as rising tariff turmoil and uncertainty is keeping home buyers on the sidelines.

- National home sales fell 4.8% month-over month.
- Actual March 2025 sales activity fell 9.3% below March 2024.
- The number of new listed properties increased 3% on a month-over month basis.
- The actual national average sale price was down 3.7% on a year-over-year basis.
- There were 165,600 properties listed on all Canadian MLS® Systems at the end of March 2025, up 18.3% from a year earlier but still below the long-term average (around 174,000 listings) for this time of the year.
