Important Update for Exam Writers: Changes to Exam Eligibility Now in Effect
We would like to inform all prospective exam writers that there are new updates to our exam eligibility criteria for both Accredited Program Applicants and Alternate Pathway Applicants effective January 1st, 2025. These changes have been implemented to ensure that candidates meet the necessary standards and requirements for certification.

If you’re planning on writing your exam with Sonography Canada in May, don’t forget our Registration Period opens on February 17th, 2025!
Reminder: Sonography Canada requires program representatives to submit eligibility documents by the following deadlines:
- April 21 for the May exam sitting
- August 18 for the September exam sitting
