Thank You for Your Input!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 574 sonographers who participated in our National Competency Profile (NCP) Survey. Your valuable feedback is essential in ensuring that updated NCPs reflect the knowledge, skills, and competencies required by entry-level sonographers and the importance of each competency for safe and effective practice.
Your contributions help shape the future of sonography in Canada, and we are truly grateful for your time and input. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward with this important work!
New Resource: ASA’s Bariatric Guidelines
The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) has released updated Bariatric Guidelines, providing valuable insights and best practices for sonographers working with bariatric patients. These guidelines offer practical, evidence-based strategies to help reduce workplace injuries and aim to enhance the quality of care, optimize imaging techniques, and support sonographers in delivering exceptional diagnostic services to this patient population.
We encourage our members to review these guidelines and consider how they can be applied in their practice. Access the guidelines here.
